We’re a family-run wedding venue near Cle Elum, tucked into the Swauk Creek Valley between Cle Elum and Ellensburg, a few miles off I-90 and Highway 97. Roslyn and Suncadia are about 15 minutes away, and Seattle-area guests can plan on about 90 minutes via I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass, depending on their starting point and traffic. Here, rustic ranch charm meets a warm Western welcome: say your vows at our ceremony arbor, celebrate in the barn, and enjoy time with your favorite people. Our multi-day rentals give you time to settle in, add your personal touches and make memories together. From the first preparations to the last dance, we’re glad to be part of your celebration.

Meet your host
Meet Nancy, manager and host of The Cattle Barn operations since spring 2016. A cowgirl at heart, Nancy competed in Western reining and won many classes. These days, she rides in the arena and on the trails with her children and grandchildren, almost every day. Horses are a family affair: the family keeps up to 15, training young horses for the next generation. Come meet Nancy and walk the ranch together.

How much does The Cattle Barn cost for a 2027 wedding?
Friday/Saturday is $6,950; Sunday/Monday is $3,950; Midweek Two-Day Rental is $3,950; Midweek One-Day Rental is $2,950. Washington sales tax is additional. These are venue rental prices; catering and other independently booked vendors are separate.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
Up to 199 guests inside the barn and up to 400 outdoors. Planning more than 199 guests? See our tent guidance.
Is the Ranch House included for getting ready?
Yes. Your wedding party can get ready on the Ranch House main floor, with two bathrooms and a small kitchen area. Come see the rooms on your tour. You’ll find the house-use details in Good to know on our Rates and FAQ pages.
